Grammar Activities
4) Comparative language 3 ways “Justin Bieber or Justin Timberlake?” Text one photo at a time, or text, or emoji.
14) Send a photo of e.g. an animal/mode of transport/type of house and sts text back the name in English. They send a picture of their favourite animal and group responds. This could include possessive language eg Marie's favourite animal is honey badger.
15) Send a mystery photo (a cropped image) and Sts have to deduce/decide what it is using modals of possibility, probability or deduction
28) Practicing question forms-Each pair is given a number eg 1-12 (plus teacher makes 13)
Each pair also writes 1-13 down their page.
Post a prepared question to model the task.
Pairs make their questions and post them to the class, starting with their assigned number. It doesn't matter how quickly they finish and post (as in, if the questions arrive on screen out of order) because they can simply answer on their pages to whatever comes!
Early finishers can make bonus questions.
Feedback-as a class, each group posts their answer or announces it to the class.
